Another reason why I think there should be a test you have to pass to breed.

#1 cause of death in America is heart disease ( I think...I'm not a doctor so If I"m wrong I'm wrong). I am very surprised that it isn't stupidity. Everyone has heard of the darwin awards where people end up weeding themselves out of the gene pool by making stupid choices to do stupid stuff, but that would eventually make the human race evolve past being completely incompetent when it comes to making choices that include potentially going on a permanent vacation to meet their creator (whomever that may be).  So here is a video that makes me wonder if I ever want to have children in these times.....

Thanks for ruining the ghost busters theme song jerks!

Here is a video of some complete juvenile attempts at posting a funny prank video. Pranks are supposed to be creative and give you the "I'm gonna kill you for doing that...but I can't because that was hilarious". This video is more like a string of evidence videos for someone being charged with multiple counts of assault. Please be less stupid and think of something that is funny and isn't a complete disregard for peoples safety. Anyone can take a dangerous situation and make someone feel unsafe (Shaking a ladder or tossing a cat in a moving car window). Notice that every time a "prank" is made the culprit runs away very quickly...I think that they should be in better shape from doing such. Hopefully one day you get what is comming to you and get caught by someone you "pranked" (and I am using pranked in the loosest form I can think of). Seems like they would definitely like to "say" something to you.

San Fransisco Bay Brand Brine Shrimp Hatchery

Not a bad little investment for less than ten bucks. Takes about two days to hatch the brine shrimp. Comes with three packs of salt/brine shrimp. Pros-the unit itself is good to go. Mix the salt/egg pack with RO/distilled water and fill the collection cup with straight filtered/distilled water. the newly hatched brine shrimp will go towards light and end up in the collection cup. For a salty like me, I take normal water out of my 135gallon and I mix that with straight brine shrimp eggs...a lot easier and a lot more brine shrimp. I reuse the water by filtering it through cone coffee filters...works really well for clearing out the brine shrimp eggs. I would give the "shrimpery" an 8/10. Good design and idea, but they should have included a better quality salt/egg bag.  I mean more eggs to each bag would have been nice. I would recommend buying an extra vial of just straight brine eggs. My LPS hard coral love these! You can also hatch the shrimp and filter them out with a coffee filter and freeze them for later! The vial of eggs last almost FOREVER it seems. I usually take off the vial cap and put enough eggs in it to just cover the bottom to where I can t see it and I end up with a big cloud of hatchlings!

Talking cat videos, wake up kitty, sylvester

I don't know exactly who this guy is but he has some great charisma and is creative as I"ll get out. He keeps releasing these talking cat videos and they are like a mini-series saga.  Watch them in order and have a great time. I subscribe to his videos and he is hilarious.

Coralife 4x65 watt light fixture and coralife power center timer review

This is a pretty good light. It allows you to use one row for actinics and another for your daylights with independent plug ins and switches. It is really easy to buy the leg accessories on this unit to mount it a couple inches above the tank top. It is nice to have the ability to use a timer and have the actinics come on an hour or two before and stay on an hour or two after the daylights go off to mimic natural daylight cycles. This probably Aqualight Power Center - 1875W capac...sounds like a love fest for coralife but I have had this combo set up on my old 55g salt tank for well over three years. Very quiet  and dependable. I prefer the analog timer over the digital form of it because of the ease of use and you can look at the two timer dials and know when the cycles are on and off. This setup is perfect for a 48 inch tank (usually 55 or 75 gallons).  I have grown lots of soft corals under this light and even had a teardrop maxima clam flourishing under this light (very high placement). This light setup doesn't super heat your system, actually it runs very very cool and there are two fans on the top to keep the ballast cool for better efficiency. I would give this setup a 9/10 only for the fact that there are a few different styles of light pins they can take but if you look at your old lights before you order your new ones you will always get the right ones. Simple and easy!

API TEST KIT review.

After trying many test kits, I have settled on a pretty good in the middle kit that doesn't give up accuracy for a cheaper price tag. My wife uses the freshwater test kit for her 55g natural planted tank and I use the master reef and saltwater master kit for my 135g reef/fish tank. These test kits work very well and are so much cheaper than the electronic testers which usually go for hundreds. The only drawback is that it can take up to 5 minutes for one or two of these tests...but it is only five minutes...worth the cheaper price tag. These tests last for a long time and carry a shelf life of around 2 years. Very simple and easy to use for beginners.

How has she survived this long?

So by now the newest viral video has hit the news and there has been a whole rash of legal hum-DUMB about why the person involved in the "accident" shouldn't hold themselves responsible. The video I'm talking about is the Kathy Marrero (more adequately spelled moron-o) falling into a mall fountain mall while texting. Here is the kicker...she works at the very same mall. Since the mall video footage was posted on youtube she has hired a lawyer and I have even heard she has gotten the security guard that leaked the video fired. She claims her feelings have been hurt because no one came to her rescue. Last time I checked the only person needing an intense rescue personnel response for falling into a very shallow body of water was the wicked witch of the west (probably more able to take this as a life lesson and not everyone else's fault).

So where on this green earth does someone get the idea that by choosing to be totally oblivious to a familiar environment that SHE WORKS AT by TEXT MESSAGING and falls into a mall fountain that they should be able to sue someone else for her own stupidity?

#1. It happened in public. You work at the mall and know that everything is on camera...that there are more cameras at a mall than young teens trying to pick up dates. In a situation like that you have no control over who is recording you and when you step on the premesis you are agreeing to be filmed by knowing there are cameras.
#2. Take this as a life lesson....very similar to what your parents told you when you were learning how to walk and run....WHAT WHERE YOU ARE GOING. Nobody else is at fault but yourself.
#3. Don't try to get something out of anyone else being stupid. Have you thought about the Persons family that you got fired? Not their fault you are stupid.

So please do yourself a favor and go back under your rock you have been living on, because if you believe that what happens in public anymore is private it's not and you need to either go back in time or get up to speed with the planet earth.....how have you survived living on the planet this long?
